My Teaching Philosophy

My field of communication and conflict greatly influences my teaching philosophy. I follow the contrary notion that conflict is not always bad. Instead, times of conflict can become the mining grounds for growth and development. Therefore, I see the classroom as a space in which educators should welcome and even create contained conflicts. Life is a succession of problem solving. Providing a safe space for students to learn by problem solving empowers them to make their education their own.
